Calling all foodies: the best places to eat on campus

High Point University was voted No. 1 Campus Dining Experience by its students in the country four years in a row (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015). HPU was also voted No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction out of 500 colleges and universities in the country.

There are 12 dining places located all over campus – including restaurants like Chick-fil-A, Subway and more. HPU offers three convenience stores with fresh vegetables, fruit, food and toiletries. It is also one of the only campus’ worldwide with a steak house. Conveniently, there are two Starbucks locations, as well as a Jamba Juice.

The Farmers Market and The Bakery offer healthier options as well as vegetarian and vegan. There is also a full sports bar with burgers, wings and more. The Grille is one of the favorite places on campus that offers a wide variety of options such as sushi, sandwiches, pizzerias and more. All of these combine to make delicious choices and a great meal plan.

When there are so many choices, it’s really hard to decide which place is your favorite, however, these individuals have theirs.

Evan Turner: “I would have to say the Grille because it feels like you’re going off campus and the food is much different than the cafe.”

Bobby Capps: “Other than [1924] Prime, the Grille is the best because everything is just a general swipe and is made fresh and promptly.”

Kara Brown: “My favorite is Farmers [Market] by far because the food lately has been bomb. Try to the feta cucumber wrap.”
